Richard Scott: CEO. Before co-founding SML ChinaConsult, he headed up international sales teams for more than 15 years. He has a proven track record maximising the potential of both sales teams and company revenues, meeting and exceeding targets, whilst ensuring a high degree of trust amongst the client-base and with associated additional / repeatable revenue. The majority of his career has been in the associated activities in the financial software and services area, building, mentoring, assessing and reorganisation of teams in this complex sales arena. He is decisive when change needs to be implemented and has demonstrated his ability to lead teams through transition while keeping the end goal clearly communicated at all levels. He has also worked in the business development, client services, training, consultancy as well as some time as a Management Accountant.




























































Alejandro Buriel: General Manager. Before co-founding SML ChinaConsult, he successfully held senior management positions in the areas of sales management, executive sales and business development management on the international market, with consistent record of achievement in the technology-enable solutions business, financial risk management services and payment methods sector. Building, training and leading teams to start operations in new countries for large multinational companies. Opening new headquarters in other countries for multinational companies. A young entrepreneur, he started his first company (an IT consultancy firm) at the age of 20. Experienced Sales and Business Development Executive, Goal and Result oriented team player professional with more than 21 years of experience.

He combines his work in SML ChinaConsult with the position of Country Director in China for IE Business School in Shanghai, China.


Beatriz Peña: External Marketing Consultant. Senior Marketing professional with background in multinational and local companies, across different industries. With wide experience planning, executing and supervising Marketing and Communication Plans designed to achieve company business goals, to build brand awareness, to increase lead's generation and company profitable growth.

Currently she combines her collaboration with SML ChinaConsult with the position of Regional Marketing Manager on the consultancy field across SEA, being based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
